Virus Update

Virus Update

Two years later and we are still virtually where we started – with an inadequate health care resource system!

That’s because we continue to ignore that health care is an economic activity just as much as putting that fancy new button on your new truck!

In fact, health care is the primary economic activity. Our health allows for everything else.

Trillions of dollars are being spent to jump start the economy.

Where is the fast-tracking to triple our illness care personnel?

Where are all the new separate infection control facilities?

These two are necessary components of responding to the reality of a growing population, an aging population and a world where viruses continue to evolve.

And don’t get me started on the need for exercise, stress reduction, nutritious food and an overall healthy environment!

We’ve taken health care for granted, expected someone else to take care of this for us.

This has to stop.

Health care is an individual and social responsibility. We are all responsible for health care and we need to support our governments in making the mental transition to working with us to make it part of economic planning.
